Katie Tatham recalled, 'Waiting was like waking up every day not knowing if this would be the day he would get the call and as each day went by hope slowly diminished.'
She expressed immense gratitude towards Ralph's donor family: 'In their darkest hour they chose to give our son the chance to live, I don't think there can be any greater selfless act.'
