Four people including child hospitalised after house fire in Cork
Briefly

The blaze broke out in the Lotamore estate in Mayfield just after 8.30am and required an immediate response from the Cork Fire Brigade, who arrived within minutes.
All four occupants of the property, believed to be a family, were treated for smoke inhalation and subsequently hospitalized, but are all expected to make full recoveries.
The fire has been classified as accidental, with initial reports suggesting a piece of material caught fire at the residence.
Despite the mother and child attempting to escape the smoke-filled home, they encountered difficulties, prompting the father and grandfather to enter and subsequently be overcome by smoke.
