Riadel Manzano, a passionate aircraft mechanic, has overcome challenges in a predominantly male industry to ensure aviation safety. Inspired by her childhood fascination with planes, she pursued a degree in Aviation Maintenance and achieved certification. Her career, starting at Horizon Regional Airlines, emphasized learning and skill development. At Skyline Airlines, she not only tackles complex maintenance issues but also mentors aspiring mechanics, emphasizing the importance of knowledge transfer in ensuring future safety and reliability in aviation.
Helping the next generation of mechanics is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job; I want to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
