"In a video that has been widely circulated on social media and seen by the Irish Independent, members of the winning St. Kieran's team can be seen climbing onto the fence separating the pitch from the spectator stands following the final whistle. The fence then collapses causing supporters to fall onto the pitch leading to a pile-up with people reportedly injured from the fall itself and from other supporters landing on top of them."
"A section of pitch-side fencing gave way, resulting in a number of supporters falling. Three supporters required medical attention, and a response plan was put in place by the County Board Medical Team to treat the individuals. The safety and wellbeing of all those in attendance is taken seriously. The incident has been noted and the appropriate parties have been informed. At this time, out of respect to all parties involved no further comment will be made."
