Japanese Formula One driver Yuki Tsunoda recounted an unusual experience at the United States border, where he was interrogated for hours despite having proper documentation.
Tsunoda expressed confusion over being stopped despite having the right visas, noting that his previous entries into the US were smooth. 'I did the visas and everything'.
The driver humorously noted that his attire might have contributed to the situation, saying, 'I was wearing pyjamas, so maybe I didn't look like an F1 driver'.
Reflecting on the incident, Tsunoda hoped future entries would be smoother, stating, 'I heard a lot of things, but hopefully that is all well in the future'.
