"It is totally unacceptable. That is not, 'Thank you for your service,'" said Leo Bridgewater, an army vet and co-founder of Service Disabled Veterans in Cannabis Association. Despite being a preferred group, veterans have received far fewer cannabis business licenses than expected.
"It's inadequate. It's hugely disappointing," said Osbert Orduna, CEO of The Cannabis Place and a disabled vet. He highlighted that many disabled vets, certified by the state Office of General Service, should be eligible for cannabis business licenses.
