Grant Ellis, a 31-year-old self-proclaimed mama's boy and basketball player, likens his experiences on reality dating shows, such as 'The Bachelor,' to analyzing game tapes of his basketball performances. "I look at it like I'm watching game tape of myself. And it's really interesting to see what the connections look like on screen," said Ellis.
"I mean, by the time I'm seeing it, it's too late. ... It's out there," he said about his season of 'The Bachelor,' which premieres on Jan. 27.
"My friends and the atmosphere. ... It's a big basketball state, so that's what I miss, but I don't miss the cold weather and I don't miss the taxes."
"When explaining to 'Bachelor' producers the qualities he's looking for in a wife, he said 'somebody who was caring ... with a good heart ... who is outgoing.'"
