Taiko, an Ethereum Layer 2 network, in conjunction with a major hacker movement, is launching a large-scale anonymous community vote through the Taiko Grant Factory Hackathon. This initiative aims at strengthening decentralization in governance, culminating from a long competition among developers. The voting phase utilizes the innovative Minimal Anti-Collusion Infrastructure (MACI), aimed at resolving issues found in traditional voting mechanisms. Voting will be on-chain, ensuring privacy and integrity, with an incentive of 50,000 Trailblazer points distributed to participants, who will later benefit from an airdrop.
This is decentralization in action, says Ben Wan, Taiko's Community Director.
