Dybantsa, the top-rated high school player and a potential No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft, admires Wembanyama’s skills and believes they could form an impactful duo. Though the odds are slim, with the Spurs already performing well, Dybantsa remains hopeful about his future in the NBA and draws inspiration from Wembanyama's rapid ascent in the league.
"I think Victor is just ridiculous, the things he does are just crazy," said Dybantsa, whose Utah Prep high school team had the week off.
"That's the goal," Dybantsa said, illustrating his aspirations of following in Wembanyama's footsteps as both a top player and NBA talent.
