"In a video provided by a pro-Palestine activist group calling itself Palestine Action Éire, two people can be seen at the front of the building holding an Irish tricolour flag with the words 'IDF suppliers out of neutral Ireland' emblazoned across it. The two individuals proceed to start smashing windows of the front entrance before the person filming picks up a cannister of red paint which is used to spray the building front. The words 'Drop Elbit' are also spraypainted onto a sign nearby."
"Investigative journalism outlet The Ditch reported in April that Acra Control last year sent components from its Clonskeagh manufacturing facility to the Israel Military Industries (now owned by Elbit Systems) plant in Ramat Hasharon where munitions are made for use by the Israeli Defence Forces."
"We are driven by empathy and solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle for justice and freedom from colonial oppression and despite the risks, refuse to stand by while the weapons of genocide are manufactured at our doorstep with impunity and the complicity of our government."
Pro-Palestine activists vandalised Acra Control's Clonskeagh premises in Dublin 14, leaving several smashed windows and coating the building in red paint. Video shows two people holding an Irish tricolour reading 'IDF suppliers out of neutral Ireland' and spraypainting 'Drop Elbit' on a sign. Acra Control, owned by Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, supplies instrumentation, airborne imaging and data-acquisition systems; components were reportedly sent to a plant in Ramat Hasharon that makes munitions for the Israeli Defence Forces. The activists cited the UN Human Rights Council finding of genocide in Gaza and vowed further actions unless ties with Elbit Systems are severed.
