"The collision, involving a bus and a pedestrian, happened at approximately 3.30pm between junctions 8 and 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway in Kill on Saturday afternoon. A male pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment. He died yesterday evening as a result of the collision. A post-mortem will now take place in due course, a Garda spokesperson said. The male driver of the bus, also aged in his 30s, was not injured, while two passengers received injuries described as non-life-threatening."

Gardaí are now investigating the incident, which happened at 4.30pm on the R703 in Ballyroughan Big, Borris in Co Carlow on Saturday afternoon. The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. A Garda spokesperson said the coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 60s, was uninjured in the incident. Gardaí are now appealing to any witnesses to contact them in relation to all three road deaths."
