Delaware, "The First State," Becomes Second State to Get NTIA BEAD Final Proposal Approval

"The BEAD program gives states the resources they need to deliver affordable, reliable high-speed internet service to all," said Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and NTIA Administrator Alan Davidson. "Delaware has a terrific plan to close the digital divide. Today it can put that plan into action with the approval of the final proposal."
Delaware will utilize over $107 million in BEAD funding to connect 5,721 homes and businesses, underscoring its commitment to expanding broadband access across the state.
