Daniel Duggan to be extradited from Australia to US over alleged training of Chinese fighter pilots

Daniel Duggan, a former US Marine pilot, is set to be extradited to the US to face charges related to allegedly training Chinese fighter pilots.

The Australian Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus confirmed the extradition, stating he considered all material before reaching his decision under the Extradition Act 1988.

The US indictment alleges that Duggan taught Chinese pilots to perform carrier-arrested landings, resulting in charges of arms trafficking and money laundering.

Duggan's family expressed devastation at the decision, portraying it as 'callous and inhumane' given Duggan is a father of six Australian citizens.
