Aykroyd’s interests in the paranormal stem from his family's history: 'My great-grandfather was a spiritualist, a paranormal researcher. And so, I just grew up with that stuff.'
He shared a UFO sighting experience, describing it as 'a big gray rectangle with bulbs that looked like grapes underneath it, hovering with no noise or lights.'
