On a tragic Friday evening, a medical jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia shortly after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of six individuals, including a pediatric patient and her mother. The plane, a Learjet 55, took off at 6:06 p.m. and did not remain airborne for more than a minute.
