English Heritage has announced it is closing Kenwood House this weekend due to high winds from Storm Darrah, with gusts forecasted up to 80mph.
Due to the high winds predicted, Kenwood will be closed on Saturday and Sunday December 7 and 8, with events and lectures also cancelled.
The Friends of Kenwood Christmas Party has been moved to December 15 due to cancellation, highlighting the impact of weather conditions on scheduled events.
The lecture about the Italian renaissance titans has also been rescheduled for December 15, with an appeal for those unable to attend to inform Kenwood.
