Emails revealed that Thomas Fulham formed an "emotionally dependent relationship" with a pupil, stating "I love you" and other inappropriate phrases, leading to serious misconduct conclusions.
The misconduct hearing indicated Mr. Fulham exchanged 166 emails with a student, including instructions for deleting emails, raising concerns about his professional boundaries and emotional manipulation.
Although police found no criminal offense, the Teaching Regulation Agency determined Fulham's actions were inappropriate and warranted a ban from the teaching profession.
