Canadian man accused of attacking travelers, TSA officers at Miami airport day after involvement in mid-flight disturbance: reports

Cameron Dylan McDougall, 28, is facing battery charges after he first allegedly attacked a victim walking to his gate at Miami International Airport around 7 a.m. The suspect didn't utter a word when he approached the stranger from behind and started punching him, authorities alleged. His aggression escalated as he engaged in a brawl with another man who tried to intervene, leading to additional altercations with TSA officers.

The day before his alleged assaults, the Canadian was involved in an in-flight disturbance that caused the plane he was on to turn back to Miami. While he was not reportedly under the influence of alcohol, it's unclear if he was impaired by drugs, highlighting a troubling pattern of behavior in a short span that put many travelers and airport personnel at risk.
