He is accused of directing multiple drug-related murders in Ontario in 2023, a 2024 killing in Canada over a drug debt, and the January 2025 murder of an associate and FBI witness in Colombia. Wedding was taken into custody after reports of surrendering at the U.S. embassy in Mexico and will remain jailed without bond. A reward of up to $15 million was offered for information leading to his arrest. FBI officials compared him to notorious traffickers and linked him to the Sinaloa Cartel.
