A routine traffic stop in California revealed an astonishing seizure of fentanyl-laced pills, amounting to enough lethal doses to kill a quarter of California's population.
The CHP stated that in total, over 66 lbs of 330,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills were uncovered during a traffic stop, with pictures portraying the alarming stash.
This bust is part of a larger trend, as CHP recently seized $1.7m worth of fentanyl in similar enforcement stops, highlighting a growing issue of trafficking.
