She married Galen Weston in 1966 and played a significant role in the fashion industry, particularly with Penneys and Brown Thomas. A vice-chair at Holt Renfrew, she was celebrated for her deep commitment to public service and philanthropy. Throughout her 55-year marriage, she and her husband supported each other in business and community endeavors.
