Hajj-Malik Lovick, a creator of the aquarium, reflected on its closure: "It's sad. There was a misunderstanding with the fire department, and the fish wound up dying."
Kristin Rickman from PETA expressed her disappointment in the project, stating, "Taking a few minutes to safely rehome the fish could have prevented their deaths," highlighting the responsibility of the creators.
Despite setbacks, Lovick’s optimism remains, as shown in a sign in the area: "We are currently reconstructing the fish pond... Will return soon, no worries!"
Rickman also cautioned against future projects, urging, "Consider options that wouldn't endanger or exploit animals for entertainment," questioning the ethics behind such attractions.
