The New York Lottery announced that a winning ticket worth $17,159.50 was sold for the October 14 drawing at Speedway, located at 4165 Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
The Allegany County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Maryland State Police, conducted a series of arrests targeting open warrants between Oct. 7 and Oct. 11.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, James Timothy Davis Jr., 36, of Westernport, was arrested on a Frederick County District Court warrant for a third failure to appear.
The operation focused on individuals with outstanding warrants for various charges, resulting in the apprehension of several individuals across the county.
