Breyers will pay an $8.85 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit for misleading labeling of its 'Natural Vanilla' ice cream product, which contained non-bean vanilla flavors.
Consumers who purchased Breyers vanilla between April 21, 2016, and August 14, 2024, can file claims online or by mail by February 19, 2025.
While proof of purchase is not mandatory, those lacking receipts can only claim a maximum of $8, while customers with receipts are entitled to a full reimbursement.
The defendants, Conopco, Inc. and Unilever United States, Inc., denied the claims but chose to settle to avoid protracted litigation.
