French football star Wissam Ben Yedder has been sentenced to a two-year suspended prison term for sexually assaulting a woman while intoxicated, mandatory compensation of €5,000 was ordered.
Ben Yedder's lawyer stated that the player was in a state of intoxication during the incident, emphasized that he has since begun alcohol detox and therapy, and claimed no memory of any assault.
