Oregon's Multnomah County Elections Division emphasized that fire suppressants saved most ballots, despite three being damaged due to an incendiary attack.
Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey highlighted the dire conditions faced by hundreds of ballots, stating, 'The majority of the ballots are completely destroyed and the remaining ballots are severely damaged and very very wet.'
