Armie Hammer denies cannibalism claims in Louis Theroux interview
Briefly

Armie Hammer has publicly denied allegations of cannibalism and sexual abuse during an episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast. He clarified that to be considered a cannibal, one must actually consume human flesh, which he denies. Hammer spoke about accusations made against him including rape and emotional abuse, stating that while he acknowledges his problematic behavior, it does not equate to criminality. Following the scandal, he sought trauma treatment, and seems to portray his past misconduct as mere 'asshole behavior' rather than illegal acts.
I left a lot of people in that wake very angry at me for my behaviour. Asshole behaviour. There's no way around that... That's not illegal.
You know what you have to do to actually be a cannibal? You have to actually eat human flesh. So no.
I’m not going to argue the messages but that they formed one side of a conversation... it was fun to joke about if I was stoned or drunk.
I denied these claims in an interview and have always been clear about my experiences.
