ANOTHER Gallows Corner diversion hit with emergency works as water pipe bursts

A burst water pipe has closed one lane of Lower Bedfords Road near Havering Road without affecting residents' water supply. Traffic lights are being used for safety during ongoing repairs. The repairs are expected to last until July 25 according to Causeway one.network. Emma Bedding from Essex & Suffolk Water states the team is working continuously to fix the leak, apologizing for the inconvenience and thanking residents for their patience as repairs continue in this key diversion route for Gallows Corner.
A main water pipe has burst in Lower Bedfords Road in Romford, opposite Chaseside Close and near to the junction with Havering Road. It hasn't affected water supply to nearby residents but for safety reasons a section of the road is down to one lane while we carry out the repair.
Traffic lights are in place for the safety of our colleagues and road users. We have explored all possible options to cause the least inconvenience to drivers and residents.
