Anduril in talks to raise up to $2.5B at $28B valuation | TechCrunch
Briefly

Anduril, the defense tech company, is reportedly negotiating a $2.5 billion funding round that could value the firm at $28 billion, just six months after its last significant round. Founders Fund is leading this investment with a record $1 billion contribution. This follows Anduril's impressive growth, including doubling its revenue to $1 billion in 2024, supported by initiatives like its billion-dollar weapons megafactory under construction in Ohio. These developments reflect Anduril's rising prominence in the defense technology sector as it secures substantial backing from notable investors.
Just six months after defense tech Anduril raised a massive $1.5 billion round that valued the company at $14 billion, it's in talks to raise another $2.5 billion, at a valuation of up to $28 billion.
The deal would, not surprisingly, be led by Founders Fund, which is reportedly writing a $1 billion check that represents its largest check ever.
Anduril's previous round was to help pay for its billion-dollar weapons megafactory it is building in Ohio.
Sources also told CNBC that the company's 2024 revenue doubled to $1 billion.
