On March 25, an Amazon delivery driver left his keys in the ignition while delivering a package, leading to the theft of his van with 311 parcels inside.
Prosecutor Jade Sodipo confirmed that the police tracked the stolen van to Cutter Lane, Greenwich, where they found Robert French with multiple Amazon parcels.
During the police search of French's flat, various stolen items were recovered including smart watches and skincare products, highlighting the extent of the theft.
Although French possessed many stolen parcels, Prosecutor Sodipo clarified that he was not the one who stole the van, and his sentencing is pending.
