(SNI), which is constructing a cable landing station for subsea fiber optic cables in Westport, Washington. This initiative aims to enhance data connectivity between Alaska and the lower 48 states by replacing outdated cables. AP&T's strategic positioning and new leadership under CEO Bill Marks are key factors in this development, which promises high-quality communication services for local communities.
The subsea cables are anticipated to replace aging cables used by AP&T and other carriers, allowing Alaska residents, businesses, and communities to continue to receive high quality services.
