A self-employed couple lost their home and livelihoods in Hurricane Helene. Their home insurance doesn't come close to enabling them to rebuild their lives.

Lindsay Thomas was left unable to walk following the landslide, which annihilated their home and livelihoods, leaving them facing daunting medical bills and recovery efforts.

Andrew Marsh described the moment of the landslide which struck their home as a sudden wave of earth and rocks, estimating the height of the debris to be 40 to 60 feet.
