'A miracle no one killed' - Teen led gardai on dangerous pursuit where he hit speeds over 200km/h

"A teenage boy has avoided a custodial sentence after leading gardaí on a dangerous Dublin to Laois traffic pursuit where he reached speeds of over 200 km/h and drove on the wrong side of dual carriageways."

A 17-year-old led Gardaí on a high-speed pursuit from Dublin to Laois, reaching speeds in excess of 200 km/h. The driver repeatedly drove on the wrong side of dual carriageways during the incident. The pursuit included dangerous manoeuvres on the M50, with the vehicle driven "back and forth" across all four lanes. The teenager cannot be identified because he is a minor. The teenager faced charges of endangerment of life, car theft and 13 counts of dangerous driving for actions on the evening of April 21. The case concluded without a custodial sentence for the juvenile.
