9-1-1: Lone Star showrunner reveals plots fans could've seen for queer couple
Briefly

Following the cancellation of Fox's 9-1-1: Lone Star, co-producer Rashad Raisani revealed what Tarlos fans missed out on. The season finale provided a happy ending for couple TK and Carlos but lacked deeper storytelling. Raisani expressed regret about not showcasing their adoption journey or exploring Carlos's role as a Texas Ranger, particularly regarding his complicated relationship with a colleague who had previously been suspected of betrayal. The show’s abrupt end left fans longing for a more fleshed-out narrative.
It would've been great to see an episode where TK and Carlos make the decision to adopt. I wish we could have displayed that journey.
I always regretted that I couldn't have had a Carlos Texas Ranger episode after he had found out who had betrayed him.
