"We also have a housing crisis here in Madison and downtown is a place we can still build a significant amount of dense housing for our residents," said Jason Ilstrup, highlighting the urgent need for housing development in the area as office buildings are repurposed.
"GEF 2 and 3 are basically an entire city block - one could argue, even more than a city block full of development," according to Matt Mikolajewski, underscoring the scale of potential redevelopment in the area.
