The Hunt for Gollum will focus on a handful of beloved characters, with Gandalf the Grey spearheading the mission to find Gollum, played by Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis.
Mortensen previously expressed some interest in playing Aragorn again, stating that he would only do it if he was right for the character.
