Nineteen sea turtles, rehabilitated after experiencing cold-stunning in New England, successfully returned to the Atlantic Ocean off Jacksonville, Florida. This journey followed months of care at the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and was supported by Turtles Fly Too and the Johnny Morris Sea Turtle Center. After being transported from the New England Aquarium, these turtles received extensive treatment to recover from their condition, although one turtle, sadly, did not survive. The release showcases the importance of collaborative wildlife rehabilitation efforts to protect these endangered species.
