Ruben Guanipa Ramirez, 26, was indicted for second-degree attempted murder and assault after allegedly attacking his billiards partner at Gilgo Beach. Prosecutors claim he drove the victim from Queens to a billiards hall and then to Gilgo Beach. During the attack, Ramirez allegedly covered the victim's mouth and stabbed him, attempting to slit his throat. The victim sustained defensive wounds but managed to wrestle the knife away. The incident adds to the unsettling history of Gilgo Beach, known for multiple human remains linked to serial killings.
