Former Miami Marlins minor league pitcher Matt Pobereyko has died at the age of 31.Pobereyko's death was confirmed by the Mexican Pacific winter baseball league in a tweet on Feb. 25.The Hammond, Indiana native bounced around the minor and independent leagues for several years (2016-22), including stints at different levels with the Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Mets and Marlins organizations.
