The Heat tried to address those minutes this offseason by signing veteran center Thomas Bryant to a two-year contract at the minimum that includes a player option in the second season.
Bryant, who turned 26 in July, has proven he can stretch the floor after shooting 39.4 percent from three-point range during the past four seasons.
Bryant averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 65.4 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range in 41 games with the Lakers last season.
