Terry Rozier and Kevin Love, integral players for the Miami Heat, will not participate in Game 2 of the playoff series against the Cavaliers. Rozier sustained a left ankle sprain during a workout, while Love is away dealing with personal matters. Rozier, once a starter, struggled throughout the season with eight DNP-CDs and no playtime in the play-in tournament, highlighting a difficult year. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra praised Rozier's dedication and team spirit despite his challenges, while acknowledging the disappointment of his injury.
I really feel for Terry. You can see what kind of teammate he is, just how much everybody roots for him - staff and players alike.
He heals fast and we'll just treat him day to day. It's a bummer that he got hurt basically on one of the last plays of the scrimmage.
