We just hit record heat, so why is this forecaster now telling Miami to wear a jacket?
Briefly

Miami and Fort Lauderdale are witnessing a significant weather shift as temperatures, which reached record highs, are set to drop due to incoming storms from Central Florida. Meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez indicates that residents should prepare for chilly mornings in the upper 50s and a return to wearing light jackets. A wind advisory has also been issued with gusts reaching 35 mph. However, the rest of the week is expected to clear, bringing sunny skies and warming temperatures by the weekend.
"We have some chilly mornings ahead, so big changes," said meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez of Miami Herald news partner CBS News Miami. "Sweaters and jackets just when you thought you were done with that."
The National Weather Service in Miami issued a wind advisory for Monday with potential gusts of 35 mph through 8 p.m.
These chilly mornings with "mild, perfect afternoons," will persist a couple of days, Gonzalez said.
After Monday's threat, there should be no more rain into the weekend. Sunny skies ahead.
