WalletHub's analysis of 182 U.S. cities examined median annual rents compared to household incomes, identifying Bismarck, North Dakota as the most affordable city, with rent making up only 15.3% of median income. Sioux Falls and Cheyenne also ranked favorably. Conversely, Miami ranked least affordable, with rent consuming 33.48% of median earnings. This financial strain illustrates the growing divide in housing affordability and its potential impact on individuals' financial health.
