Parking at the Miami airport is changing again. What drivers can expect at the garages
Briefly

After a three-year hiatus, SunPass is returning to Miami International Airport, offering travelers a simpler parking payment option alongside the existing QuickPay system. The electronic toll system allows for seamless entry and exit using a transponder, eliminating the need for entry tickets. Miami-Dade Aviation's CEO Ralph Cutié indicated that the system will be reinstalled by year-end. Concerns over the convenience and safety of the new QuickPay system have been raised by users, highlighting the advantages of the old SunPass system.
With SunPass, parkers would just drive in and drive out with the transponder taking care of everything, eliminating the need for ticket stubs and extra steps.
I feel that the new system is less convenient, less safe, and more costly than the old SunPass system due to cumbersome processes involved.
