How 'Florida firsts' are defining Aventura Mall. Here are some of the newcomers
Briefly

Aventura Mall is welcoming new retailers this summer, notably Eataly, an Italian food hall and marketplace opening in June. This marks the first Eataly in Florida, aiming to deliver an authentic Italian culinary experience without traveling. Alongside Eataly, a Western wear company, Tecovas, known for handcrafted cowboy boots, will also debut in the mall. As part of its strategy to be a premier shopping destination in South Florida, Aventura Mall has recently added brands like Massimo Dutti and Rivian, emphasizing a unique customer experience with engaging retail environments.
"The ambition for us is to replicate what Italy is today," Tommaso Bruso, the Italian brand's CEO for North America, told the Miami Herald last summer. "You're supposed to have the same experience that you have when you go to Italy physically, without the flying or packing your luggage."
"We are proud to be the destination of choice for premier brands launching in South Florida," she said in a statement to the Miami Herald. "Welcoming national firsts like Eataly, Massimo Dutti and Skims reflects our continued success in bringing that vision to life and continues providing an unparalleled experience for our guests."
"Think playground, not a showroom," Rivian touts on its website. "You're welcome to climb in and on our vehicles."
Jackie Soffer, chairman and CEO of Turnberry Associates, mentions that 'Florida firsts' are a part of Aventura Mall's mission.
