Formula E's Miami E-Prix returns in 2026 with a new site - Hard Rock Stadium
Briefly

The 2026 Miami E-Prix will occur at Miami International Autodrome, utilizing a shorter configuration than the Formula 1 track. Scheduled for January 31, it will not interfere with traffic access for surrounding events, such as the imminent Super Bowl. After years of varied venues, this marks the third hosting platform for the Miami E-Prix. Previous events faced issues with local promotion, yet attendance figures show potential growth and interest in electric racing. Formula E seeks more accessible and urban-centered locations to align with its brand ethos.
"It's a bit far from the city center, which is not what Formula E is about," Formula E co-founder expressed, emphasizing the series' preference for downtown locations.
"The Formula E event on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, won't use the same 3.36-mile track as F1, but one of four shorter configurations, ensuring no disruption to local areas."
