Tyreek Hill surgery update + more Miami Dolphins notes from the NFL combine
Briefly

At the NFL Combine, Miami Dolphins' coach Mike McDaniel addressed player updates, notably confirming that star receiver Tyreek Hill underwent wrist surgery for a ligament issue and is expected to recover by summer. McDaniel also discussed left tackle Terron Armstead, who is undecided about retirement, indicating the team will plan as if he will not return, reflecting their preparation for free agency and the upcoming draft. These updates are significant as they impact team strategy and player recovery timelines.
"He had surgery on his wrist," McDaniel said. "It was a ligament issue - it wasn't a broken wrist. He's scheduled to be running very soon in which he'll rely upon that in his training until he can catch the football which will be more around summer time going into training camp."
"He's going to take his time with his family and loved ones and make that decision because it's not an easy one," McDaniel said Tuesday morning at the NFL Combine. "But we will be operating as though we're moving on in that way simply for the execution of free agency and the draft."
