Will you be able to see the solar eclipse in Miami? What the weather forecast says
Briefly

The partial eclipse in Florida will block about 46% of the sun's light during the peak. The celestial show begins around 1:47 p.m. and ends at 4:13 p.m., with the peak at 3:01 p.m., according to the University of Miami.
Up to 40% of the sky in the Miami area is expected to be cloudy during the eclipse, according to meteorologist Will Redman. However, viewing opportunities should still be available.
Weather service meteorologist Barry Baxter mentioned that South Florida's west coast, particularly the Naples area, will have clearer skies for better eclipse viewing.
There could be some spots that are not as sunny. Still, he said there should be plenty of viewing opportunities. The farther west you go toward the Gulf Coast side, the more sunny it will be.
