South Florida broker faces prison time after managing condos for sanctioned Russian oligarchs
Briefly

Roman Sinyavsky, a South Florida real estate broker, pleaded guilty to handling transactions for sanctioned Russian oligarchs, facing up to five years in prison.
In his plea agreement, Sinyavsky admitted managing rental and sale transactions for luxury properties owned by Viktor Perevalov and Valeri Abramov, who were sanctioned by the Treasury in 2018.
Sinyavsky was involved in selling Abramov's condo for $1.2 million and must forfeit his $182,442 commission as part of a settlement with the U.S. government.
The U.S. government also seized and sold two of Perevalov's condos, keeping the proceeds totaling $1.8 million as part of the civil forfeiture process.
