Miami-Dade's transit director is leaving his job to take over the Underline project
Briefly

Eulois Cleckley transitions from Miami-Dade's director of Transportation and Public Works to lead the Underline project, which requires community support to finish.
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava praised Cleckley's contributions, stating, "During his tenure, the Department has made major strides to accelerate our progress in connecting our community via public transit."
The Underline project will evolve into a nonprofit organization with Cleckley at the helm, marking a significant shift in its management from a charitable foundation.
The Underline, currently a mix of open and under-construction areas, will include walking and biking trails along with recreational facilities and green spaces.
